Job Purpose
- The Engineering Expert – Network Security (Cisco ISE) specializes in the planning, design, and implementation of network security solutions, with a focus on Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE). This role involves operating and supporting mission-critical security services, ensuring high levels of stability, integrity, and compliance.
Major Accountabilities
- Act as a senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Cisco ISE, overseeing its deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Provide guidance and support for network access control, policy enforcement, and secure network access within the enterprise.
- Collaborate with security teams to integrate Cisco ISE into the broader security framework of the organization.
Education & Experience
- Demonstrable experience as an SME in Cisco ISE, with a strong understanding and practical experience in network security.
Skills &Competencies:
- Expertise in network design principles, especially related to network security and access control with Cisco ISE.
Impact on Organization:
- The role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless integration of traditional network infrastructure with modern cloud solutions, enhancing the security, scalability, and efficiency of Sandoz's IT services. The expert will lead by example, driving innovation and continuous improvement across the network and cloud domains.
