We are seeking an experienced Appian Lead with support experience to join the client’s team. As an Appian Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and support for the implementation and maintenance of Appian applications in their organization. Your role will involve leading a team of Appian developers and supporting end-users with troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system enhancements. As an integral member of their team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of their Appian environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Appian developers, providing technical guidance and support throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, system owners, and end-users to gather requirements and understand business processes for Appian application development and support.
- Design, develop, and implement Appian applications and solutions based on business requirements, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Conduct troubleshooting and issue resolution for Appian applications, working closely with end-users and other technical teams to identify and resolve system-related problems.
- Assist in the design and implementation of system enhancements, customizations, and integrations with other enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to ensure the availability, scalability, and performance optimization of the Appian environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Appian features, trends, and industry developments, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.
Requirements:
- Significant experience working with Appian BPM software in a lead capacity, including application development and support.
- Strong knowledge of Appian architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Proven experience in leading Appian development teams and mentoring junior developers.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
- Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS is a plus.
- Appian Certifications (e.g., Appian Developer, Appian Designer) are highly desirable.
