Role Summary:
We are looking for a colleague to join our client’s team/squad, which focuses on the development and management of applications for payment cards, for the position of Kotlin Backend Developer.
We are seeking a skilled developer with knowledge of Kotlin who would primarily develop and support solutions for a new digital bank serving clients in the payment card domain.
This is an opportunity to work in a larger, independent team that operates based on agile and DevOps principles.
What you will be doing:
- Practical experience in software development and design at a senior (or mid level)
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Kotlin 1.9.x / Spring
- Knowledge of unit test creation
- Attention to detail in code reviews
- Technical English proficiency
What We Also Appreciate:
- Knowledge of databases/database development (PostgreSQL)
- Experience with communication/integration patterns
- Experience in software design/software architecture
- Knowledge of messaging systems (Artemis, Kafka)
- Familiarity with and interest in DevOps (Jenkins, ArgoCD, Kubernetes)
- Experience with agile development methodologies
