About the role:
- Design and implementation: You are responsible for the design and technical implementation of data-driven solutions or individual components of a data-driven solution.
- Requirements management: Together with customers, users and other stakeholders, you develop the relevant requirements and work with them to design innovative solution ideas that meet these requirements.
- Data analysis and modeling: Your strength lies in the preparation and analysis of structured and unstructured data from various data sources as well as in data modeling. You will develop analyses and evaluations of strategic, process-related and methodological issues.
- Process optimization: You proactively introduce optimization proposals and ideas to the customer and implement processes for data quality assurance.
- Concept creation: Together with our data architects, you will concretize concepts into drafts ready for implementation and prepare the realization of solutions together with our data engineers.
- Project support: You support projects in all phases, from requirements analysis, design and implementation to testing and going live.
What we need from you:
- Enthusiasm for data: “A passion for data!” You are enthusiastic about acquiring new knowledge about applications, technologies, and tools in the data & analytics context
- Academic background: You have a degree in business informatics, economics, industrial engineering, computer science, or a comparable field of study.
- Analytical thinking skills: You have strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to draw conclusions from your results.
- Specialist knowledge: You have in-depth knowledge of classic business intelligence and data warehouse concepts as well as modern data & analytics platforms.
- Technical skills: You have a sound knowledge of SQL and feel confident in data modeling, ideally interacting with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik Sense.
- Understanding of architecture: You enjoy designing and analyzing architectures from a business perspective
Required Skills:
- Data Visualization: Power BI (must), Tableau (nice to have)
- Database Management: SQL (must)
- Experience working with relational databases, particularly Snowflake (must)
- Proficiency in ETL processes, using tools such as SSIS or Airflow
