Responsibilities:
- Provide support to end-users, addressing their queries and resolving issues related to SAP PP/QM, including production planning and quality management functionalities.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize the SAP PP/QM system to ensure it operates efficiently. This may involve applying system updates, patches, and enhancements.
- Diagnose and resolve system-related problems, such as configuration errors, data inconsistencies, and performance issues, working with cross-functional teams when needed.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, customizations, and support procedures to facilitate troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users to improve their understanding of SAP PP/QM, enabling them to work effectively with the system.
- Assist in testing and validating system changes, enhancements, or upgrades to ensure they align with business requirements and do not disrupt existing production and quality management processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and system enhancements to optimize production planning and quality management.
- Ensure that the SAP PP/QM system complies with regulatory and quality management requirements, especially in industries with strict quality control standards.
- Generate reports and quality metrics using SAP PP/QM reporting tools to provide insights into production performance, quality standards, and process efficiencies.
- Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to resolve technical issues, implement system changes, and stay up-to-date with SAP best practices.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, or Information Technology).
- SAP PP/QM certification or relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience in SAP PP/QM support or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in SAP PP/QM modules and related production planning and quality management processes.
- Knowledge of SAP Best Practices and industry-specific production and quality management standards.
