What you will be doing:

Co-developing the testing strategy.
Test analysis and test design: Creating and maintaining test scenarios in Jira, preparing test data.
Automated backend testing: Using Postman for data-driven testing (DDT) – REST API services, Kafka, databases.
Reporting: Utilizing Jira (Xray) and Grafana (Influx) tools for tracking and reporting test results.
Backend performance testing: Experience with JMeter or a similar tool.

Who We’re Looking For:

Emphasis on test analysis, including estimations, constructive-destructive tester mindset, and high-quality test case (TC) descriptions.
Ability to work with various tools describing functional specifications – Jira, Swagger, Enterprise Architect, Confluence. Ability to ask the right questions in case of ambiguous requirements.
Analytical and conceptual thinking, considering substitutability and future reusability of created outputs.
Practical experience with Postman, including automation of backend service tests.
Knowledge of Jira tools (Xray or Zephyr plugin) for test case management and Grafana (Influx) for monitoring metrics and reporting.
A team player mindset, willingness to help others, and focus on the success of the entire team, not just individual tasks.
Experience with test integration into CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Jenkins.
Ability to use JavaScript for writing automated tests and scripts in Postman.
