Job Purpose:
Architect and develop security specific taxonomies, framework and capabilities for all Cloud platforms and Domains making sure that Security is embedded in all Cloud resources and services and implementation / execution is consistent across the entire lifecycle.
Major Accountabilities:
- Accountable for architecting, designing technical solutions for Cloud Services SecOps following Global Security and Compliance policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams while architecting / engineering security solutions.
- Execute technical strategy and security roadmap.
- Manage lifecycle of security domain.
- Creation of Cloud Domain Security Architectural Principles and Standards.
- Works with both Engineering and Operations teams to align the operational, engineering and security strategies.
- Maintains the Cloud Security Architecture Handbook.
- Proposes and evaluates Cloud specific security solutions.
- Responsible for Cloud security baselines.
- Forward-focused effort on the design and deployment of new or expanded security capabilities.
- Maintain security relevant documentation, artifacts and deliverables.
- Oversee Security related implementations across technical domains and provide necessary support as required.
- Ensures Security by design principles are followed during design and implementation of infra / platform solutions.
- Responsible for the implementation of the technical governance for its security domain, re. consistency, taxonomies, RBAC concept/model, etc.
- Act as an access admin making sure that the implementation of the RBAC is always aligned and consistent, supporting the access manager in any verifications and any other access management related activities as required.
- Support and ensure compliance to defined IT Governance controls, standards, and practices.
- Execute audits and security assessments working jointly with IAM/Compliance/SecOps Manager.
Competencies:
- Strong understanding of Security best practices and how to apply them in a Multi cloud / Hybrid environment.
- Very good knowledge of security regulations and standards as applicable to Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Compliance, Risk Management (GxP: sound knowledge of validation practice and IT control standards.
- Cloud Security certifications i.e. Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Security, CompTIA Cloud+, Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK), GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA).
- Network security and technical governance expertise.
- Programming and scripting skills to be able to write code or scripts to automate security tasks Attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in research and analysis.
- Quick adaptability to changes.
Skills and Experience:
- Education in Computer Science or comparable.
- Fluent English written and spoken.
- 10+ years of experience in both on-prem and cloud solution environments with a broad skillset in different technologies security designs and implementations, security hardening, patch management / release management and vulnerability management, access management, etc.
- 5+ years of experience with Cloud Platforms / Services Configuring access, managing security operations activities, configuration network security, ensuring compliance and data protection across technologies.
- Experience in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
